2006 Woodlot Owner of the Year

Réal Duguay of Lamèque was recently named 2006 Woodlot Owner of the Year by the North Shore Forest Products Marketing Board. Mr. Duguay was singled out for having managed his 150 acres of woodlots in a sustainable and responsible manner. Shown presenting Mr. Duguay with his award is Bob Sirois (left), wood procurement superintendent with Nexfor-Fraser Papers, which gave a cash prize of $1,500 to Mr. Duguay to reward him for his excellent work.
